What’s the deal with night sweats?
Blood sugar? Cytokine dump? Histamine dump? Estrogen deficiency? Stress? Oh my!
How can we approach this systematically?
First, I like to look at what the thing is. Night sweats is normally considered to be a symptom. Although often, it’s perfectly reasonable and normal behavior based on what the body is trying to do, which is to cool itself down.
Then we can look at how this behavior may go awry and organize the triggers into Stages. Voila! Order out of complexity and confusion.
